Edited by: Mankirks Wife on 14/11/2008 20:30:49 Originally by: Mr Xofar There's nothing wrong with that for large Veldspar roids; 45k units and larger. I wouldn't bother with smaller volume roids though. Can't speak for everyone, o...

4. carrying crystals - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I keep the crystals I'm not using my hauler alt's hold, and swap them around via the can as needed. I can see the corp. hangar being used for crystal storage on the new Orca, as well.

Edited by: Mankirks Wife on 24/10/2008 04:36:02 Hmm... my alt's got 42 days left on Gallente Freighter V, after that I may train him for this. Not sold on it though - I don't really mine that much anymore, and it's a big expense - for the pri...

7. Orca stats up! - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Hmm... seems like a pretty solid highsec mining command ship, will fill a role that's long been empty. I can see a couple of issues though... - From the stats provided, it seems a small gang of gank-Thorax's will be able to suicide them in 0.5 u...

8. Orca is un-needed (Never thought i'd say this) - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Or perhaps you should just move a few jumps away from the market hubs? I can name several excellent mining systems in Gallente space that always have belts full of huge rocks, even with several hulks gnawing on them every day. Only the rookie sys...

Just a quick question for all of you who do research and invention out of a highsec POS. How do you split up the profit? Who pays for the POS? I'm still kicking around the idea of launching a highsec POS and maybe not being a one-man corp anymor...

It's like the rest of 0.0 - if you're not blue you're going to get shot at. If you can deal with it you stand a good chance of making it out with your BPOs. But given how much these BPOs cost and what they produce, I doubt more than a few percent ...

17. how should i organise corp mininig ops? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Back when I was in an industrial corp (one-manning it up now), the way we did it was everyone in the OP got an equal split, which in highsec was just miners and haulers, out in 0.0 the tank and the scout got a share as well. It went by time presen...
